Viewership for Episode VI of The White Lotus jumped 22% to Series New High

After hitting a high with last week’s episode (and the shocking sex scene in its final moments), “The White Lotus” has already reached a new personal best.

2.8 million viewers tuned in to the sixth episode of season two of “The White Lotus” Sunday night, according to a Warner Bros. discovery. This number is calculated from a combination of Nielsen’s measurement of linear width on the HBO cable channel and data for WBD about its broadcasts on HBO Max.

This represented a 22% increase from the 2.3 million viewers who tuned in to the buzzy fifth episode of the second season in the previous week. While it was revealed at the end of episode 5 (which series creator Mike White dissected in a spoiler-filled suite diverse an interview)

Episodes of “The White Lotus” average 9.5 million viewers across platforms, which WBD says is nearly 60% more than the first season average for the same timeslot. The season premiere has now been watched by 10.4 million people.

Additionally, this is the fifth consecutive week that The White Lotus has ranked at #1 on HBO Max.
