Aaron Boone gives a totally unhelpful update on Brian Cashman’s Aaron Judge

New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone spoke about the Aaron Judge madness that arose on Tuesday, but his update wasn’t helpful at all.

When John Heyman of the New York Post tweeted that Aaron Judge (mistakenly tweeting “Arson” Judge) was going to the San Francisco Giants, MLB fans went into a frenzy before he shared this information further.

The Yankees now have some cleaning up to do as many rightly wonder whether or not Judge is a giant, and Yankees manager Aaron Boone unfortunately couldn’t provide any answers.

Boone shared that when he called Brian Cashman to ask him what was going on, Cashman told him, “Nothing.”

This is as far as everyone knows at this point.

For now, Judge is still a free agent who can go anywhere he wants to go. He could easily end up in New York again, and he could also possibly end up in San Francisco.

No clear direction as to where Aaron Judge will end up… yet

Judge made some sure visits to San Francisco, and the Yankees also reportedly offered him a hefty sum Eight-year, $300 million contract.

It looks like both teams are likely to land the star, it will just depend on who makes the most enticing offer. On the one hand, Judge is associated with the Bay Area as he was born in Sacramento, California and raised in Linden. He was a Giants fan as a kid, which definitely makes their interest extra special.

On the other hand, he’s already accomplished a lot with New York and they have the funds to throw in as they are The richest team in the league. However, the Giants have reportedly offered him about $360 million (per Heyman), and they’ve stated they won’t be outbid, so they’re willing to spend.

Of course, there’s always the possibility that another team might come out of nowhere and rip it off. However, the most likely contenders seemed to be the Yankees and Giants. Unfortunately, no one knows where he’ll end up yet, and Boone is just as clueless as we are.
