Actress Anna Kendrick has starred in a variety of projects over the years, which includes immersing herself in the world of action, with the upcoming film Alice, Darling Seeing her take on the role of a woman who is pushed to the edge and decides to fight back against her tormentor. The movie got a trailer, and while much of it seems to highlight the disturbing dynamic of a controlling romantic partner and the potential repercussions of such a situation, the later moments show the intensity of what can happen when a victim takes a stand against this process. The film was directed by Mary Nighy, making her directorial debut, from a screenplay by Alana Francis and also stars Kanehitiyo Horn, Charlie Carrick and Wonmi Mosako.
