Funko waves of Marvel Avengers Assemble and Victory Shawarma Build-A-Scene were six pop acts, with a new character appearing roughly every two months over the course of a year. The latest sequel is based on 2016’s Captain America: Civil War and will feature 12 giant pop figures. It all starts with Vision. A rule is included, so it looks like you’ll need quite a bit of space (and cash) to properly display this series when it’s finally completed. If they stick to a schedule of one pop a month, that will happen in late 2023.
As with previous Marvel Build-A-Scene sets, the Captain America: Civil War lineup will be exclusive to Amazon. Vision Pop is available for Pre-order here on Amazon Now for $12.99. Modernization: The price was originally listed at $29.99, but Amazon slashed it by 57%. Needless to say, if the MSRP on this was going to be $30, it would be overkill.
For the rest of the Funko Pops in the collection, expect to see Captain America, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Ant-Man, Black Panther, Black Widow, Falcon, Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye, Winter Soldier, and War Machine rounding out the list of 12. Honestly, it looks like Captain America: Civil War feels like a pretty old Marvel movie on Funko, but expect some figures to sell out anyway.
Fast forward to 2022, and Marvel fans are looking forward to Anthony Mackie’s film debut as Captain America. Captain America: New World Order hits theaters on May 3, 2024.
Who is starring in Captain America: New World Order?
The movie is written by Falcon and Winter SoliderMalcolm Spellman and directed by Julius Onah. In addition to Mackie, it was announced at D23 Expo that Carl Lumbly will return as Isaiah Bradley, Danny Ramirez will return as Joaquín Torres / Falcon, and Tim Blake Nelson will return as The Leader of Incredible Hulk.
