Demon Slayer Season 3 has been confirmed to arrive in 2023, but after that fact, fans have been waiting for any news when it comes to Ufotable’s return to the Shonen series featuring Tanjiro and the Demon Slayer Corps. Thankfully, viewers won’t have to wait much longer as a new trailer for the Swordsmith Village Arc arrives, letting fans know when the new season kicks off on the small screen, with the big screen also in for a surprise as part of this electric announcement.
demon killer Season 2 saw Tanjirou, Nezuko, Inosuke, and Zenitsu assist both Flame Hahsira during the Mugen Train arc and Sound Hashira during the Recreation Zone arc. Unfortunately for the young monster hunters, both storylines saw them go through some serious rough patches. The first arc of the season also helped bring Demon Slayer to the top of the biggest anime movie of all time, as the battle against Enmu and Akaza results in Rengoku’s death. With Tanjiro and company licking their wounds and finding a new mission from Tengen Uzui, the entertainment district saw them fight off a pair of demonic siblings, giving anime viewers one of the biggest fights in the series to date.

The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Reel 2023 has been shared on the official Twitter account for the anime adaptation, not only giving fans a new trailer and release window, but also confirming that the first episode of Season 3 will make its way to the big screen earlier next year:

While Season 2 focused on Hashira’s Flame and Sound members, Swordsmith Village Arc will take the opportunity to team up with Tanjiro and battle young demons with Love Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji, and Mist Hashira’s muichiro Tokito. Given the success of the shonen franchise on the silver screen, it shouldn’t be surprising to see the series return to a “world tour,” though we imagine we’ll eventually get a brand-new movie sometime before the anime adaptation comes to a close.
