Kevin Nash Defends The Rock After Joe Rogan Steroid Accusations

Joe Rogan recently accused Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson of using steroids and demanded that he come forward about his alleged use on his podcast. Johnson himself declined to respond, but fellow retired wrestling superstar Kevin Nash decided to reflect on the situation during the final episode of the show. Click this. He started by saying, “The last thing for Rogan is that he walked out after Dwayne [Johnson]saying that… The Rock says he doesn’t use PEDs and Rogan tells us he does [everyone] It is bulls – and [he is] on PEDs. I just want to make this point, and this is my point of view and it’s my opinion. Performance enhancing drugs are just that. It enhances your performance. Testosterone replacement therapy restores your hormonal levels [had] In your mid 30s. I am receiving testosterone replacement therapy.

He then went into detail about his post-TRT health, before turning the conversation back to Johnson — Dwayne is 50. If he’s taking anything, it’s going to be done by a doctor. He’s getting cypionate or enanthate, it depends. Cypionate is closer to the usual testosterone, natural testosterone, but enanthate lasts longer. Yeah, I mean Dwayne looks cool but…

He continued, “Someone like Dwayne… Number One is very disciplined, but he’s also very rich.” “So I don’t think Dwayne wakes up in the morning and when he gets the crust out of his eyes at 4 a.m., he decides whether to swap the egg whites. I mean, he wakes up, takes a cold shower, maybe does 20 minutes of cardio with nothing in his stomach.” Except for coffee, and then he does a pre-workout and goes in there and trains a body part in. I watch him, he’s not training super hard, but super hard sets with constant tension on the muscles. [He] knows what to do. [He’s] In his own area, he gets out of there, and the rest of the day, he eats optimally. He doesn’t miss meals, he doesn’t miss macros. For looking the way they do all the time, instead of hitting someone, just tip your hat to their discipline.”

It is currently heavily rumored that Johnson will be in the main event of WrestleMania 39 against Roman Reigns this April. Stay tuned for more updates.
