Top 10 Favorite Christmas Songs – Tale of New York tops the list | music | entertainment

Third place went to Chris Rea’s Home of Christmas Driving, with White Christmas, by Bing Crosby, close behind.

Fifth place was taken by Michael Bublé with his 2011 version of It’s Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas.

However, Mariah Carey’s Christmas classic, All I Want for Christmas, only managed sixth place in the top ten, with 39 percent of the vote.

Other songs to debut in the top 10 include Shakin’ Christmas “Stevens,” Dean Martin’s festive tracks, Baby It’s Cold Outside and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.

Commissioned by Pringles, Study released their first Christmas single, The Pringles Single, with vocals from Luna Morgenstern and a Welsh choir – marking the collision between Christmas and football in December.

The pop tune offers a rendition of the famous carol – Carol of the Bells – with lyrics synonymous with festive festivities and football.

Aisling O’Hara, of Pringles, said: “This is no ordinary winter, as we are experiencing two of the biggest festive events in one season.

“Our first ever song highlighting these moments, and we can’t wait to see fans have some fun lip-syncing on TikTok.”

The study also found that among those who celebrate Christmas, 30 per cent consider singing Christmas carols as one of their favorite things to do during the festive period – while 58 per cent simply enjoy listening to Christmas carols.

But there is a limit, as 37 percent admit that they feel bad if they hear festive music before December 1st.

And one in three (32 per cent) admitted they stopped listening to songs once Christmas Day was over – although 14 per cent of the holidays made them go into the new year.
