Season four of Dom Patrol Now on HBO Max As the fan-favorite series dropped its first two episodes last week and only two episodes left, it’s already clear that all the undecided heroes are going for a ride. Madame Rouge is now part of the family after the events of Season 3, but while the rest of the team have been on a journey dealing with their pasts and traumas in previous seasons, Rouge is at the beginning of her journey and now, series showrunner Jeremy Carver talks about what that means for her in Season 4.
“I think Rouge is trying to figure out whether or not it’s even possible to love all parts of yourself, the good and the bad and how to accept yourself for who you are and not who you think you should be, which is what you’re right, not unlike the arcs that Many other nationalists had been working on it before in terms of calculating who they are now versus who they were then,” Carver says. ComicBook.com. “She’s in a very strange position when she’s asked to be the leader of this team in Episode Two because, far from finding ourselves part of that team, she’s starting to see herself as part of a family.”
He continued, “It’s destabilizing for her in the sense that it’s very uncommon to not be in a situation where one is only one emergency away from running for the hills. So, she constantly finds herself sort of arguing about not only where she’s appropriate for this family, but Actually how much she truly loves this family and how much this family means to her.”
