College football season has arrived, and we can no longer get excited about it!
Brace yourselves, college football fans! Bowls season is upon us, wait no longer!
Starting Friday, December 16th through the conclusion of the College Football Playoff, we’re getting some very exciting neutral site encounters that we rarely ever get to see. From No. 4 Ohio State against #1 Georgia in the Peach Bowl, to Miami (OH) taking on UAB in the Bahamas, what more could you ask for? Although the NFL will also be playing games, you can fix a bowl game.
With more bowl games you could ever know what to do with them, how many?
College football: How many football games will be played in 2022-23?
For the next month, there will be a grand total 42 bowl games to be played. This number includes the three college playoff games between the national semi-finals and the national championship. If you do the math, that means 82 FBS programs will be bowling this year. While bowl games mean different things to different programs, it’s still a big deal, guys!
Not only is this an opportunity to celebrate a great season with the team’s fanbase, but it is an opportunity for all the players and coaches on this crew to get better. Yes, there is national exposure on television to an extent, but this is all about participating in very crucial bowl game practices. You either get better or you don’t. It really is that simple guys!
Ultimately, this is a period of great transition across the sport, leaving one year behind and heading into the next. Although the coaching circuit has slowed to a crawl at this point, many of the bowl game crew will be of a diverse group. People come and people go, but bowl season remains. For those who like to bet a few bucks or so, you can make winnings in bowl season.
