Santa Claus is set to air on ABC & Cable

Disney’s The Santa Clauses recently closed the chapter on its first season, and you can currently stream the entire first season on Disney+. If you don’t have Disney+ though, you’re in luck, as Disney just revealed that it will stream the first two episodes of the series on several channels, including ABC, FX, Freeform, and Disney Channel. They’ll air over the next week or so, and Freeform will air those first two episodes after a marathon of the Santa Claus movie trilogy. The series was also recently renewed for a 2 season, so this is the perfect opportunity to get started. You can find the full press release below (via Photon critic).

ho ho ho! Christmas is coming up, and the Clauses have a very big announcement for my sleigh. I created my list, double-checked it, and decided to share a sneak peek for those who were *nice*.

A chance (or four) to see Santa Claus coming soon, to bring joy into your home without ever leaving your living room. Just as the elves from my workshop spread Christmas cheer, you can also capture the holiday spirit with the first two episodes here:

Freeform: Fri, Dec. 16 at 8 p.m. EST/PT (after a special marathon of the “Santa Claus” trio)

Foreign Exchange: Saturday, December 17th at 8pm EST/PT

ABC: Christmas Eve, December 24 at 3:30 PM EST / 12:30 PM PT

Disney Channel: Christmas Day, December 25 at 7 p.m. EST/PT

All episodes are currently streaming on Disney+ for those who have been rambunctious (including those trying to steal my job) there’s still time for you to turn things around and stop acting like rotten eggnog.

Start watching Santa Claus all week long. It will warm your heart and lift your spirits. I will not misdirect you. Get cozy and comfy now because you’re going to love what you see and then enjoy the full season on Disney+; Start broadcasting with Episode Three!

Merry Christmas everyone, and have a good night. Cheers, Santa Claus”

“This franchise has had a lasting impact on so many families, and has truly become part of their annual holiday traditions,” Ayo Davis, President of Disney Branded Television, announced in a press release. “Having it back as a series has been a real gift, and I am grateful to our producing partners at 20th Television, and of course Tim Allen and the team, that we have one more reason to celebrate this holiday season.”

The official description of the game Santa Claus reads “Scott Calvin is back! After being Santa Claus for nearly thirty years, he’s as merry as ever. But as Christmas’s popularity declines, so does Santa’s popularity. Scott struggles to keep up with the demands of the job, plus to being there for his family. Upon discovering there is a way to retire his position, Scott considers stepping down as Santa Claus and finding a worthy successor so he can be a better father and husband.”
