Some Tesla owners now have the ability to play games like Cyberpunk 2077 movie And the Elden ring in their car. Tesla has been trying to find ways to create more ways to entertain its customers over the past several years. While there are many apps people can enjoy, mobile games, and even things like Hulu or YouTube, the idea of playing proper AAA games in a car has always been one of Tesla’s biggest ambitions. The idea was announced a couple of years ago, but it’s been nothing more than “someday” fantasies for a long time.
Well now, she’s actually here, much to everyone’s surprise. Tesla Model S and X consoles can now run Steam and play games like grand theft auto v, elden ring, And the Cyberpunk 2077 movie. This is part of Tesla’s new holiday update and will give players access to their Steam library. The company advertises “thousands” of games playable on the car, but it’s not clear which ones can be played on these cars or how well they can run, but it is possible. Given Cyberpunk 2077 movie It was one of the main games used to market this idea, it seems safe to say that it can run a lot of fairly high quality games. Gamers can also connect wireless controllers such as PlayStation DualSense to enjoy their games. Of course, it should be noted that these games cannot be played while the vehicle is in motion for safety reasons. Alternatively, it can be enjoyed while parked and presumably will benefit more when someone is charging their car somewhere.
The video also appears to show Tesla using SteamOS, so Steam Deck users will be familiar with that interface. In fact, the Tesla advertisement displays the “Great on Deck” section of the player’s library on the Tesla screen. Of course, Tesla Model S and X cars are rather expensive, with lower-end models costing around $100,000. It seems unlikely that Tesla Model 3 users (the cheapest model) will get this feature unless a future revision includes it years from now.
