Euphoria Star Jacob Elordi replaces Henry Cavill as James Gunn Superman in DCU Fan Art

Warner Bros. revealed. Discovery recently announced that James Gunn and Peter Safran will be heading up their new DC Studios arm, and ever since that announcement things have been on their head. Gunn and Safran recently handed over their plans to WB President David Zaslav and announced that the former is writing a Superman movie that will star Henry Cavill. The news comes just two months after Cavill announced his return to the role after a brief appearance starring in Dwayne Johnson. Black Adam. After the news broke, the actor took to Instagram to reveal that another actor would be wearing the iconic symbol of hope and that he was officially stepping out of the role. Gunn’s movie will follow a younger Superman who goes to Metropolis for the first time, so as with every project like this, fans have an actor in mind for the role. Instagram artist handle @Clements.Ink has created a new piece of fan art that shows what Euphoria’s star could look like as Gunn’s younger Superman. In fan art, Elordi gets a live-action version of Max Fleischer’s iconic costume. The actor has the look down and would be an exciting choice for the next Man of Steel to replace Cavill. Gunn and Safran both kicked off their jobs as co-CEOs of DC Studios at the beginning of the month, and it’s safe to say DC’s future looks bright. When the duo was announced by the head of Warner Bros. New Discovery, they released a statement about their excitement for the job.
