Roman Reigns has successfully defended his Universal Championship 25 times since winning the Universal Championship for the first time in August 2020. He has since combined the title with the WWE Championship to become the undisputed WWE Universal Champion and has eliminated the likes of John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens Drew McIntyre, Goldberg and Edge. The big theory in 2023 is that he will drop one of the titles at some point and that Cody Rhodes or Dwayne Johnson (or both) will challenge him to a title fight. WrestleMania 39 In Los Angeles.
But while speaking with Good Karma Wrestling recently, MVP made the pitch for his client, Omos, to be the one to finally dethrone Reigns. The seven-foot-three “giant” has only wrestled twice on television since Paul Levesque took over the WWE booking, but Porter still stands firmly behind his partner.
“I hope to accomplish one thing at this point in my career and that is to lead the Nigerian giant to a gold championship. He knows what it means to be a winner; he’s been a winner his whole life. Now, he’s reached the WWE, NFL of professional wrestling, if you will, the absolute pinnacle. Nobody’s bigger, nobody’s stronger, and with my experience and ability, the WWE Championship, I’d say it’s inevitable. We’ll get there, but Porter said. (h/t Wrestling Inc.) “[Omos and I] They try to get there, but cleverly, step by step. The Nigerian giants, Omos, are smashing everyone in their path and the goal, my goal, is to see them lift the number one championship in all sports entertainment.”
Porter has achieved success as a manager before, leading Bobby Lashley to two stints as WWE Champion. But right after that WrestleMania 38However, he decides to betray Lashley and hitches his wagon to Omos. The only title the big man in the company has held so far is the Raw Tag Team Championship, a title he won alongside AJ Styles.
