The band wrote in statment on social media. The band’s top priority is to support Nick through a full recovery, and as a result we’ve had to pull out of our engagements at KROQ’s Acoustic Christmas and Saturday Night Live. The YYYs have enjoyed the incredible heights of support at the KROQ and the immense honor of being chosen to close SNL 2022, we are so grateful and sadly anticipate that we cannot rise to these occasions. It’s been a tough week, and it’s been a tough year on the health front for us along with many artists who are committed to connecting with audiences in the midst of a pandemic. We send our love to our fans and supporters, thank you for your understanding and well wishes, it means the world to us. We wish you a healthy and happy rest in 2022, and we look forward to a strong comeback in 2023.”
