Nancy Drew Wraps Productions Kennedy McMahon shares final photo behind the scenes

Nancy’s drawing It’s coming to an end after its upcoming fourth season – and series star Kennedy McMahon took to social media yesterday to say goodbye to the character after the series ended production last night. McMann shared two photos on Instagram: one from the last day of filming on the series pilot, and one right after production ended on the series finale. In the latter, she obviously got a little choked up at the end of a show that she’s said over and over again that she’s so proud to be a part of.

McMann had previously teased that the series’ fourth season will lean toward its characters becoming more adults and their personal journeys. This path, since the younger characters are now out of school and starting to make their way in the world.

“A big part of the season is about becoming an adult and every single one of them [The Drew Crew’s] She said, “Their personal journeys that way.” From a career perspective, they all even start their official adult lives in many ways. They have moved out of their parents’ homes if they have lived there before. Nancy opens up as a detective. George studies law. Pace is the new custodian of the historical society. Nick is kind of figuring out where he stands with the whole thing now that Nick and George have broken up. Ace just started working in the morgue. There’s kind of all these offshoots that happened… There’s also a kind of underlying mystery to the season that kicks in in the first episode that inherently unites them, and they’ll all work together to solve that throughout the season.”
