The day has finally arrived as fans have waited months to see it Dragon Ball Super manga return. With Chapter 88 of the manga taking a cue from Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero in that it follows the story of Z fighters other than Goku and Vegeta, a teenage Saiyan hybrid who takes a page from Gohan and the Great Saiyaman identity, and patrols the city as the newest superheroes. Unfortunately for Sons Goku and Vegeta, they’re going to face some big challenges as a result of this new story.

When we last left the manga, Granolah’s The Survivor Arc ended in a completely unexpected way, with Frieza returning to the series, having not been a part of this last arc or the Moro Arc before it. Thanks to the discovery of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, also known as the Chamber of Time and Space, upon his conquest of the universe, Frieza was able to train for the equivalent of ten years in ten days and gained a new transformation into “Black Frieza”. Now the new strongest being in the universe, one shot each for Ultra Instinct Goku and Ultra Ego Vegeta, the two Saiyans train hard to prepare for their rematch.
Dragon Ball Super: Super Goten and Trunks
A big surprise to prepare for Dragon Ball Super: Super Heroes, the movie that focused on Gohan and Piccolo fighting against the Red Ribbon Army, was that Goten and Trunks had aged since we last saw them. Now that the pair are in their teens, they’re attending high school and taking a cue from Gohan’s alter ego to fight crime as the new heroes Saiyaman X1 and Saiyaman X2.
While the manga hasn’t revealed how long it will focus on Goten and Trunks’ story, serving as a prequel to Super Hero, fans are celebrating the return of the Shonen franchise. in this time, Dragon Ball Super She has yet to confirm the return of her TV series, despite how popular it is, it’s likely only a matter of time before we see anime adaptations of Moro and Granola’s The Survivor Arcs.
