Snoop Dogg asks Twitter if he should turn it around and gets more than 3 million responses

Snoop Dogg is following in the footsteps of Elon Musk, CEO of Twitter, asking his followers if he should run the company and receiving an overwhelming response with nearly 3 million voters demanding they stick to the movement.

Almost 3 million people want Snoop as the new CEO of Twitter

Last Sunday, Snoop asked his 20.8 million followers if they think he should “run Twitter,” following Musk’s trend of using polls as a decision-making tool.

The general reading is that people want Snoop to be in charge of whatever he wants because he is one of the most popular celebrities with the most acceptance in the United States.

Doggfather did not follow through on the overwhelmingly positive response as he may have just been joking but it is possible that he will use this as part of his platform.

Meanwhile, Elon Musk started a Twitter trend where he asks people for their opinion and acts on the results.

The most prominent outcome was whether former United States President Donald Trump should restore his account or not, and as a surprise to many, people voted that it should be restored because it was about freedom of speech.

Trump’s Twitter account was recently reinstated

Trump’s account was suspended after the attacks on the Capitol on January 6 of 2021 when Trump followers took the Capitol hostage armed with semi-automatic weapons and launched an assault on the nation’s capital.

In this case, he asked the CEO of Twitter if he should step down from the position and the results weren’t what he expected, getting a response of more than 17.5 million votes, with 57 percent voting “yes.”

It is not revealed if he plans to leave Blue Bird, but at least he already knows what people think.

Tommy Chung to be part of Snoop’s board of directors

Meanwhile, Snoop DO-GG said he “may have 2 buy Twitter now,” he tweeted. “I’m going to replace the board with Jimmy from my corners of Fish Fry, Tommy Chong and Tha Guy in Ponytail on CNBC. First line of work. Free internet on planes!!! $29 for 1 hour is rubbish.”

He continued “Everyone gets a blue checkmark. Bots with 10 letters in their name even bump into you in DMs n Just say ‘hi’. Don’t fuck those bots. #WhenSnoopBuysTwitter.”
