The sportscaster is going viral for being forced to cover Blizzard live

Social media has been delighted with the sportscaster’s pressure to return to service during the current blizzard conditions engulfing most of the United States right now. Mark Woodley of eastern Iowa got his name because KWWL-7 was short on bodies this week. So, on his way to a wild weekend, the sportscaster was sitting there in the snow at 3 o’clock in the morning. He would tell everyone that it wasn’t quite a normal experience for him. As the day went on, many accounts picked up clips of him giving his weather ratings as a part-time weatherman. It was very funny to see some of that sarcasm leak out. Woodley took it all in stride, but none of us would be too excited to be out in that kind of windy and cold early morning. Check out what he said below!

“I usually do sports and, uh, everything gets canceled here for the next couple of days, so what better time to ask the athletic guy to come in about five hours than he usually gets up and stand in the wind and snow and cold and tell the others not to do the same,” Woodley began. “This is a really long show. Tune in for the next two hours to watch me get progressively weirder and weirder.”

At first he had some other sarcastic remarks. “I didn’t even realize it was also 3:30 in the morning until today.” He joked, but wasn’t done because he tweeted, “I have good news and I have bad news. The good news is I can still feel my face. The bad news is I kind of wish I couldn’t.”

There will be more controversy as the hours go by. “Can I go back to my usual job?” Asked. “I’m sure, Ryan, you guys added an extra hour to this show because someone likes to torture me,” he grinned. “Because compared to two and a half hours ago, it’s getting colder and colder.”

How does the blizzard develop during Christmas?

the National Weather Service He made it clear, don’t go out in that kind of cold, unless it’s unavoidable. “As the Arctic continues to blow under a tight pressure gradient on the backside of the low-pressure system over the warm, open waters of the Great Lakes, lake-effect snow may continue to fall with local blizzard conditions into Christmas Day. Storm totals may reach 2.4 feet per year. Preferred snow belts. Conditions are expected to improve slowly as the system weakens; however, travel in these conditions would be extremely dangerous in the densest extents of snow.”

They continued, “The life-threatening cold temperatures combined with dangerous wind chills will create a potential hazard to the lives of stranded travelers, personnel working outside, livestock and pets.” “If you have to travel or be out in weather, prepare for extreme cold by wearing layers of leather, covering as much exposed areas of leather as possible and packing winter safety kits in your car. In some areas, being outdoors can lead to frostbite. In minutes. Ensure that outdoor animals and livestock have adequate shelter.”
