Gervonta Davis has been arrested for domestic violence.
According to Broward County arrest records obtained by FanSided, Gervonta Davis was arrested on domestic violence charges.
His arrest was described as “causing physical harm by beatings” and according to the law It was described as “the offense of battery occurring when a person willfully causes bodily harm to another person” and “a person who has been previously convicted of battery, aggravated battery, or battery felony and who has committed any second or subsequent battery commits a third-degree felony.”
According to TMZHe was arrested late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning and remains in police custody.
No word on the identity of the victim.
According to online records, the bail amount has not yet been determined.
Davis is scheduled to fight Hector Luis Garcia on January 7 in Washington, D.C., though that could change.
This is not the first time he has been in trouble with the law. In 2020, he was caught on camera getting “rough” with a woman at a celebrity basketball game.
