CM Punk votes open for AEW to come back and make peace with the Elite after the brawl

A lot has been discussed regarding the situation that occurred between The Elite and CM Punk after AEW All Out, but recently FTR’s Dax Harwood has shed some new light on the Punk side of the situation with the debut of his new podcast. Punk was the big topic for the first episode, after which the discussion about Punk’s standing with AEW came back again. This episode resulted in a comment from Punk that can’t be anything, but it could also be a sign that he’s open to AEW’s return and peace with Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks.

Theprowrestlingpodcast (via Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp) shared a photo featuring Punk and Harwood and a tweet from the Wrestling Observer saying “AEW’s Dax Harwood makes a plea to CM Punk, The Elite to find a way to make it work.” Then in the caption, the account wrote “Let’s just shake hands and say sorry lol. No but seriously.”

That’s when Punk commented on the post, writing, “Duh.” As mentioned earlier, it could just be a quick response from Punk, but then again, it could also be a hint of a possible reconciliation with AEW. On Harwood’s podcast, Harwood said he hopes everyone can come together and move forward, both in terms of what they can do now and to prepare AEW for the future.

“I can tell you what I hope,” Harewood said, “because I don’t know.” “Everyone knows the legalities of the situation and no one really expresses what is going to happen, what has happened, and what won’t happen. I can tell you, everything I can be honest about, I can only tell you what I know and what I realize he knows. I hope he comes back. I feel like AEW They should have The Young Bucks in their locker room. AEW should have Kenny Omega in their locker room. I know AEW should have CM Punk in their locker room. With these four entities you make our talent roster deeper And much better. It’s four guys who want to be the best. No matter what any of us think personally, I know we all want to be the best and I know we all want the best for professional wrestling. He’s given us lives that we couldn’t have otherwise.

He continued, “This is my appeal to the four men.” “Please find a way to make it work. If we can make it work, we can set up the future of pro wrestling for a long time and we can change the course of pro wrestling for a very long time. When you think about it, unselfishly, we’ve been doing this 20-30 years down the road so guys and girls can earn a living.”
