Naruto: A new art that unites the Uzumak and Uchiha for the new year

Naruto has followed the Seventh Hokage for decades, with former Nine-Tailed Fox handing the baton to the next generation when it comes to anime adaptations. With the year 2023 set to be a prime year for the Shonen series, new art featuring both the Uchiha clan and the Uzumaki has arrived to ring in the new year. While the big events will happen in next year’s anime adaptation, they will also see the Hidden Leaf Village fight back against some monstrous threats to the Ninja World.

During this year’s Jump Festa, the Naruto The franchise revealed not only that the anime will adapt the spin-off series focusing on Sasuke and Sakura in the time period that took place between the end of Naruto Shippuden and start Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, but it will also return to its source material with an adaptation of “Code Arc”. In this arc, Jigen’s right-hand man is looking to avenge his master’s death and has Boruto, Naruto, Sasuke, and the other Konoha ninja in his sights. With Kara’s organization in shambles after Jigen’s death, Code looks to create a new rogue ninja group that could be far more powerful.

Happy Naruto year

The Shonen series shared new art in 2023, reuniting both the Uzumaki and Uchiha clans while also giving them new outfits that haven’t yet debuted in the anime or manga adaptations:

In the pages of the manga, Konoha deals with a wild new case that sees two former Kara members join the ranks of the Hidden Leaf Village. While Eida and Daemon, former allies of Code, can be considered strong allies in the battle against Kara now, they are also powder keg that could explode at any moment. Shigaraki and Konoha’s allies are working out of their way to make sure Ninja World can keep these two former Kara members as allies, which might be easier said than done given Eida’s ability to see anything that’s going on in the world and Daemon’s short fuse.
