Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti specifications leaked, it will come in at $799

The Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti could be announced as early as next month at CES, and the price could go up to $799.

Nvidia is coming in strong at CES 2023, as it kicks off its event on January 3, two days before the official start of the conference. The company left no clues on its website as to what might be announced, but sources are now indicating that a video card could be announced at the show, with the Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti making its debut.

If you’re not familiar with the RTX 4070 Ti, the card debuted in September as the RTX 4080 12GB. The card offered 7680 CUDA cores and had 12GB of GDDR6X memory. Although there was nothing wrong with its specifications as a standalone product, it just wasn’t right for people at the time, when prices and performance were compared to the top-tier 16GB RTX 4080 model. On top of that, people felt the card didn’t really deserve the RTX 4080 moniker.

Fortunately, Nvidia seemed to hear the public’s outcry and eventually made the right move and decided to “de-power” the card. Although it didn’t provide details on what would happen to the RTX 4080 12GB at the time, reports started circulating that it could be reborn as the RTX 4070 Ti at a later date. It looks like the time has finally come, as new reports indicate that Nvidia will finally announce the RTX 4070 Ti during CES and the price may come in lower than expected, launching at $799 upon release.

What makes this news even more exciting is that the card’s specs have temporarily appeared on Nvidia’s website, with a user on Twitter 188 Take a screenshot before it is checked out. As we head into 2023, there are now plenty of graphics card options available, with newly released offerings from both Nvidia and AMD. For the most part, prices seem to be relatively stable this generation, but getting the best cards from Nvidia and AMD is still a bit difficult. Nvidia hasn’t officially announced a release date or acknowledged the RTX 4070 Ti, so things can always change.
