Invincible teases big season two news that’s coming sooner than you think

Members Invincible About to have a really good time. Days after Prime Video broke the impending news regarding the series, the series’ official social media account tweeted on Sunday that the news is imminent. Using memes generated from the show itself, the show has tweeted that an announcement is coming sometime between now and January 31st.

Outside of confirmation regarding the announcement’s time frame, little is known about what fans should expect. Should work on Season 2 be faster than expected, the big announcement is likely to be a release date, or maybe even a trailer if it’s far enough away.

After a successful first season on Prime Video, Amazon has renewed the animated series for adults for not one, but two more seasons. The series was written in part by Robert Kirkman, one of the creators behind the comic series on which the show is based.

“[Invincible] Sometimes the comic book adaptations are very close, and sometimes they differ dramatically,” Kirkman told ComicBook.com last year. I believe the majority of the first seven are originals from the series. There are large parts of every episode that don’t exist in the comics at all. I think there’s even episodes #1 and #8, which I’ve written, and so I feel like maybe it skewed a little bit more into the comics than some of the other episodes, there are large portions of those episodes that are completely original to the show. But I think it’s because of the way it’s so consistent, and because some people haven’t read comics in some time, they’re like, ‘Oh yeah. This is exactly like the comics. So I think some people think it’s closer to comedy than it actually is. Then at the same time, after years and years of work the walking Dead And being the person in the room who’s like, “No, let’s change him. Let’s kill this character. Let’s do this,” I was always really pushing hard to change things as much as possible because I was bored with the source material because I’d been there for so long plus, the walking Dead It was something I still do actively [as a comic]. And so I said, “Oh my God, can we please do something different?”

The first season of Invincible Streaming now on Prime Video while Season 2 has yet to set a release date.
