Kerry is the daughter of Grace, Sigourney Weaver’s character from the original symbol picture. Though, it is a mystery that Kerry’s father is around Avatar: Water Road. The question was asked, but it was never answered. No doubt Cameron is sitting on this secret reveal of the sequel. During the lead-up to the sequel’s release, Weaver talked about The preparation that went into the role, which involved her studying teenagers at a local high school. And when Kevin Smith detailed the process that had to happen to turn the 73-year-old Weaver into a teenager, the writer and director said:
That was crazy, man. You just prepare yourself for all kinds of complications when you’re like, “We’re going to let Sigourney play the teenage girl.” But what an amazing feat, it was kind of cool. … In the piece I saw, I studied, I practiced raising her voice (higher). I thought they put it through a therapist. they did not. She does a teenage voice. You trained and shit like that, and worked on pronouncing it until you could pronounce the sound. …you didn’t get enough credit, man.
