Yellowstone returned for its mid-season finale Sunday night, ringing in the new year with a wild episode that saw big changes for the Dutton family and left fans with plenty of questions. For fans, the series’ comeback was a welcome relief as the popular drama had a week-long take on the Christmas break, but now fans are facing another break and another big question like the one set up in the mid-season finale: When will Yellowstone return with the rest of Season 5? Unfortunately for fans, it’s going to be a bit of a wait. The series does not return until this summer

You can check out the video below. Season 5 of the series is the biggest yet for Yellowstone with 14 episodes to 10. Piper Perabo gave an update in a recent interview and revealed that the series did not appear to begin production for the second half of the season.

“There’s a lot more to come,” Perabo told TV Insider. “I can’t wait to get back in the back half just because I want to know what happens.
