The Dammar Hamlin Foundation has received millions of dollars in the wake of his harrowing ordeal. One of the biggest donors is former Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton.
Once, a touchdown pass by then-Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton sent the Bills to the playoffs and ended a long drought at Orchard Park.
Since then, Dalton has become a beloved figure by the Bills Mafia, and more recently, his recent ordeal has touched their hearts once again, albeit in a perilous and horrific setting.
Buffalo safety Damar Hamlin collapsed during a Monday Night Football game between the Bengals and Bills and was taken to a local hospital. Hamlin remains in critical condition. Our prayers go out to his family.
Since the ordeal, donations have been pouring in to Hamlin’s Toy Drive, with contributions exceeding $4 million in the wake of the frightening ordeal. Dalton was among those who contributed to the fund, donating $3,000 and was one of the largest donors.
Billing: Andy Dalton supports the Demar Hamlin Charitable Foundation
At the end of the day, it’s more about life than catching the ball and providing entertainment. We all love soccer, but nothing else matters besides Damar’s health.
It is also a blessing to see someone like Dalton dedicated to helping others in need while spreading awareness and offering his prayers and support. There is no doubt that the Mafia Belles are pleased with this and will continue to support Dalton’s efforts.
Once again, our thoughts are still with Hamlin and his family. But it’s really remarkable to see his cause is getting the funding he needs to thrive, kudos to Dalton for being a model citizen and giving back to the Bills even though he never took a chance on the team.
