Cardinals trade package rating for rival Brian Reynolds

It’s unlikely that the Buccaneers would trade Brian Reynolds to the St. Louis Cardinals since they play in the same division, but let’s figure it out.

In a recent article by the athleteAnd Jim Bowden and Rob Biertempfel discussed some potential trade packages (submitted by fans) for Pirates player Bryan Reynolds.

Reynolds asked for the trade a few weeks before the MLB Winter Meetings. The request was met with a stern statement from Pirates management and GM Ben Cherington, who stated that Reynolds was under contract and therefore could not claim.

However, it wouldn’t be wise for Cherington to ignore calls from rival GMs for Reynolds. If he wants out, why not give it to him… for the right price, of course. But what is this price?

The Buccaneers demanded a high price for Brian Reynolds

Some MLB insiders consider the Pirates’ asking price for Brian Reynolds to be similar to what the Washington Nationals got for Juan Soto. Reynolds, of course, isn’t the part Juan Soto of the world, but that wouldn’t stop Cherington from trying.

Pittsburgh needs an influx of potential capital to help move forward with rebuilding. By trading Reynolds, they would be dealing with a player they hoped would be around for the next great era of Pirates baseball.

Fan sent via trade package to the athlete which looked a bit like this:

get hacker

OF, Dylan Carlson

RHP, Matthew Liberatore

RHP, tink hence

cardinals

OF, Brian Reynolds

Pirate trade degree: a. For Pittsburgh, getting a suitable replacement for Reynolds at Carlson is a good start, as they’re hoping not to make a big move there. Liberatore is a decent prospect, and is ranked in the MLB Pipeline Top 100. However, his time in the major leagues has not been fruitful so far. The Pittsburgh staff for Wicket will have to work with him on that. Tink is only 20 years old and is already the 91st home run in baseball. St. Louis views it too highly, and it’s likely to be unsuccessful, especially for a team in their own division. However, pirates can dream.

Cardinals Business Grade: C- St. Louis would take a significant step forward in its pursuit of the World Series by trading for Reynolds. However, losing Carlsson and Liberator – two young players who still believe in them – would be tough in itself. It would represent an addition and therefore a significant loss to the organisation, and to the farm system as a whole.

Hence the pitch speed It can touch up to 99 miles per hour per instance. It has the number 1 legitimate potential, if not closer. The Cardinals shouldn’t have dealt with him so early in his development.
