My Hero Academia brings together Mirko and Bakugo in a New Year’s sketch

My Hero Academia has had a big year in 2022, and 2023 could be even bigger, as the anime adaptation will see the Hero Association struggle to pick up parts of the War Arc while the manga continues to pursue Class 1-A as part of the “final arc” of the series. Among the best in last year’s Shonen series was definitely Mirko, with one My Hero Academia artist creating a mashup of bunny hero and Bakugo, who revealed the name of his superhero in Season 6 as “Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight.”

In Season 6, Mirko and Bakugou both suffer some serious injuries as a result of standing against Shigaraki and the supernatural forces of the Liberation Front. With the female rabbit heroine trying her best to prevent Shigaraki from awakening, she loses a limb while fighting against a classy Nomu that was released by the League of Villains’ resident mad scientist, Dr. Garaki. While Bakugo did not lose any arms or legs, he did suffer a serious injury as Shigaraki managed to use his All For One powers that left him in the hospital, along with countless other heroes. Although victory in this war has been claimed, the problems facing the hero community have only worsened.

Mirco Hero Academia

Yoshinori, My Hero Academia co-creator Kohei Horikoshi, has worn their love of Mirko on their sleeve throughout their career, and now he’s giving us new art that sees Rabbit Hero sporting a Bakugou outfit, as the final arc gave readers a team-up of these two awesome crime fighters:

It hasn’t been confirmed if 2023 will not only end the final arc but My hero academy As well as Horikoshi, he’s been keeping quiet when it comes to how many chapters the Shonen franchise has left. Along with the conclusion of the manga, it will be interesting to see how many more seasons and/or movies the shonen franchise will have in the tank. Despite heading towards the grand finale, Bakugou and Mirko will remain two of the most popular shonen characters introduced in years.

Do you think Rabbit Hero and Dynamight will survive the events of the Final Arc? Feel free to tell us in the comments or hit me up directly on Twitter @EVComedy to talk all things comics, anime, and the world of UA Academy.
