WWE Faction Faction Tease Reunion on Monday Night Raw

Even after a faction has broken up, it is rare for former members to remain completely separated. The trio of Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Dean Ambrose (AEW’s Jon Moxley) remained locked-in throughout the remainder of their time in WWE together, whether it was feuding with each other or in multiple reunion matches. The New Day has been a unit for nearly a decade, only going their separate ways when split up by the WWE Draft. D-Generation X, the nWo, Evolution, and more have all had numerous homecoming encounters in previous episodes of Monday Night Raw And the WWE SmackDown. As evidenced by Monday’s easter egg rawanother popular faction that might join the ranks of the reunion.

As the Damage CTRL makes its way through the backstage area, WWE official Adam Pearce can be seen chatting with Cedric Alexander, MVP, and Shelton Benjamin. These three men, along with Bobby Lashley, previously formed Hurt Business, the fan-favorite heel stable that dominated Monday Night Raw in 2020 before disbanding in early 2021.

The group reunited twice in 2021 and 2022, aiding Lashley in his feud with Big E and The New Day. This renewed alliance would be short-lived, however, as Lashley announced that there was “no more mischief in business” in January 2022. While Alexander and Benjamin split from the faction and labeled themselves, MVP remained by Lashley’s side until April 2022. The former WWE United States Champion turned on His old friend by standing with Omos in raw After, after WWE WrestleMania 38.

Lashley is currently away from WWE as he was fired in a storyline by Adam Pearce during the December edition of WWE Monday Night Raw. In recent weeks, MVP has inquired to Pearce about Lashley’s condition.

“The Hurt Business was something that everyone loved, and everyone will continue to love,” Lashley said regarding his former stable last November. “Never say never. Not even to never say never. I’m going to make sure that somehow, in some way, we’ll get back together because it seems like now, everyone’s going back to some kind of group in WWE. There are so many different factions coming together.”

With WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns on a collision course with Kevin Owens, Zayn, Sikoa and The Usos could look into a four-on-four showdown with Lashley, MVP, Benjamin and Alexander.
