Candace Cameron Bure celebrates “keeping growing” despite controversy over the Christmas movie season

It’s been a landmark year for Candace Cameron Bure and her parent company, GAF. The company pushed out a slew of additional content this year’s holiday season and weathered a PR storm caused by comments Bure made about the network focusing on “traditional marriage.” Now, the former Hallmark star is celebrating her GAF’s “continued growth” in 2023, despite any controversy on the Internet.

In a new issue of GAF, the network celebrated closing 2022 as the “fastest growing” network on cable. That growth was reportedly driven by the holiday season’s content, as the network premiered 18 new movies — up 50% from last year’s showings. Among those movies was Candace Cameron Bure Christmas… present, which also starred Marc Blucas. As the news broke, the actress celebrated on her social media, calling it a time of continued growth for the network. I wrote:
