Commander Cody’s name may not ring a bell for causation star Wars A fan, but anyone who is excited about clone troopers should know. It was first seen on Revenge of the Sith Working with Obi-Wan Kenobi, Cody later appeared as a recurring character in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, as he would usually see him on the Jedi Master’s side in battle. When we last saw Cody in the Clone Wars season 7 episode “Old Friends Not Forgotten,” it was before the events of Revenge of the Sithin which he orders the clone to shoot Obi-Wan Kenobi after Palpatine alerted him to carry out Order 66. So from within is in charge star Wars Canon Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 will be the first time we get to see what Cody is in the post-prequel trilogy, and he appears to be among the many clones still serving the Empire. However, now that The Clone Wars has established that the clones have chips in their heads that compel them to kill the Jedi, it will be interesting to see how Cody feels about this action and what the Empire does to the galaxy when we unite with him.
Commander Cody isn’t the only familiar face Star Wars: The Clone Wars which appears in Star Wars: The Bad Batch the second season. A young Wookiee Jedi known as Gungi, having also survived Order 66 just like Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, and a young Caleb Dume (later known as Kanan Jarrus), among others. We’ll also meet Captain Rex, who like Hunter, Tech, Wrecker, Echo, and Omega, is still unaffiliated with the Empire. other prominent star Wars Characters appearing in the second season include Emperor Palpatine and Senator Bail Organa.
The first two episodes of Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season two, “Spoils of War” and “Ruins of War,” is now available for Disney+ subscribers to watch, and the rest of the season runs through March 29th.
