Ilia Topuria’s bar fight caught on video.
UFC #9 featherweight seed Eliya Topuria works out of the Octagon in 2023.
On Wednesday, a video emerged that appeared to show Topuria defending himself in a bar fight in Spain. The video shows Topuria (white shirt) standing in front of a machine when a man in a black trench coat comes out of nowhere and begins to forcefully show it.
To his credit, Topuria fought back twice before being pushed a third time and he reacted. He was seen beating the unidentified man in front of several bar patrons, including his friend, Spanish singer Omar Montes.
Initial reports seemed to indicate that it was Montes and Topuria who were fighting each other, but the original poster made it clear that it wasn’t between them, but rather they were on the same side.
The video cuts out in the middle of a fight.
Not much is known yet about the identity of the attacker or what could have triggered the initial interaction but FanSided will update as soon as more information is known.
