Harris County, Texas (KTRK) – One person has died and another person has been hospitalized after a multi-car fire accident in northern Harris County, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

An accident occurred on Wednesday at about 5 p.m. on the 500 block of Rankin Road. Gonzalez said four cars took part in the attack, and at least one of them caught fire.
It is not clear what caused the accident, but it was announced that one person died at the scene. At this time, the authorities are asking drivers to avoid the area as the road is currently closed.
