WWE 2K23 is slowly pulling the curtain back on its extensive slate, and today 2 k Unveiled several new additions to the roster. One of the biggest additions is Lita, who will bring her back to the series, and she’s joined by Beth Phoenix and Booker T. 2K has also highlighted The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Chyna, though they’ve been shown off in trailers and photos. 2K also confirmed a new NXT addition in Zoey Stark, who will join fellow NXT superstars Bron Breaker, Roxanne Perez, Carmelo Hayes, Cora Jade, and more.
2K23 has already revealed quite a few superstars on the roster, and hopefully star ratings will follow soon. WWE 2K23 will also feature the 2K debut of War Games, and after some hands-on time with the game, I can tell you it has quickly become one of my favorite modes. However, my GM is only going to get better, so I can’t decide which is the best mode in the game yet.
The game will also feature several versions of John Cena, the star of this year’s 2K show. He has previously appeared on a show, but this was just a snippet of his career compared to this latest release. Also, this time around you are facing Cena in some of his biggest losses rather than playing like him in his biggest wins, so it should be a very different experience overall.
The aforementioned My RISE, Universe, and My GM will also return, as will the different match types included in last year’s edition. The Community Creations group is set to feature even more options, and My FACTION will be back, too.
The Deluxe Edition of the game will be available for $99.99 for PS4, PS5 and Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One in physical and digital formats and on a PC in digital format. The Deluxe Edition includes the Standard Edition, the Bad Bunny Bonus Pack, a Season Pass for all five post-launch DLCs, the MyRISE Mega-Boost and SuperCharger; John Cena’s MyFACTION Evo card, Gold Edge MyFACTION card, Emerald Bianca Belair MyFACTION card, Gold Asuka MyFACTION card, and three Premium Launch MyFACTION card packs. The Deluxe Edition will be available from March 14, 2023 – three days earlier than the Standard and Cross-Generation Editions.
WWE 2K23 Deluxe Edition and Icon Edition will allow early access starting March 14th, while the Standard Edition and Cross-Get Edition will be released on Friday, March 17th.
