Houston, Texas (KTRK) – Houston police said a murder investigation is underway after a woman was found dead on the porch of an abandoned building in Montrose last week. On Thursday, February 16, Houston Police Department officers responded at 1100 Westheimer Road near Waugh Drive at approximately 5:30 pm and discovered the 60-year-old victim. The Environmental Protection Department said the woman was found unresponsive on the balcony of the building, which was the former site of High Merchant.
