The day has finally come for Pokemon trainers. Ash Ketchum and Pikachu left the anime adaptation as its stars. Thankfully, fans won’t have to wait long before the next season featuring everyone’s favorite pocket monster returns. With new coaches Liko and Roy seeking to take over after Ash’s exit, it is revealed that the name of the upcoming series will be Ash Pokemon Horizons. To help celebrate the reveal, a new trailer has arrived that gives fans a more in-depth look at the story featuring a pair of trainers with some big shoes to fill.
The Pokemon anime has seen Ash and Pikachu take center stage for over two decades, with many believing the ten-year-old will always be the star of the show. It is clear however that the Pokemon The series hasn’t been afraid to shake things up and take a big chance with Liko and Roy, because not only does the new trailer show more Pokémon in action, it gives fans of the anime a better idea of what their goals are for the new season. From the trailer footage, it’s clear that the trainers will have some mystery items that help them move forward on their journey.

In an official press release, the creators behind the upcoming season break down the story of Pokemon Horizons To give fans a sneak peek at what’s to come,” in “Pokémon Horizons: The Series,” the dual hero Liko, his partner Pokémon is Sprigatito, and Roy will encounter several characters along their journey, including a group led by Friede and Captain Pikachu called the Rising Volt Tacklers. Cross the world of Pokémon aboard a balloon, and among the Rising Volt Tacklers are Orla, who enjoys mechanical and electrical work and is accompanied by her partner Pokémon, Metagross; Murdock, who is skilled in cooking, and his partner Pokémon, Rockruff, Mollie, who specializes in healing treats, and her partner Pokémon, Chansey; and Ludlow Liko and Roy will also encounter Amethio, who is joined by his partner Pokémon, Ceruledge, and belongs to an organization called the Explorers, as well as a popular video player known as Nidothing.”
