Every Marvel mutant has been confirmed for the MCU as of Deadpool 3

There are few mutants more popular than Wolverine, so it makes sense that he would be one of the first to appear in the MCU. The big question surrounding Wolverine’s MCU debut was how Marvel Studios would find someone to play the role. Hugh Jackman’s turn as Wolverine was iconic, and replacing him seems a bit impossible. On the one hand, Marvel has probably wanted Wolverine in their films for a long time, and Jackman isn’t getting any younger.

For now, Jackman is bringing the character from the Fox X-Men universe into the MCU. Confirmed to participate Deadpool 3 Versus Reynolds, finally pitting the best-loved foes against each other once again. There’s no telling if Jackman will have a role in the MCU after this movie.

Patrick Stewart has spent decades portraying the leader of the mutants, and was the first to make his way into the MCU in the Fox X-Men system. Unfortunately for him, this is likely to be a bit of a one-off, as his Professor X from the alternate universe (complete with yellow hover-chair) was killed by the Scarlet Witch.

We probably won’t see more of Stewart’s Charles Xavier in the MCU moving forward, but his appearance in… Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Open the door to the future. With the multiverse, literally anything can happen.

Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are already in the MCU, but we don’t know yet how deeply the franchise will connect them with other mutants.

Their initial appearance made it seem like their powers came from experiments conducted by Hydra, but some flashbacks WandaVision She confirmed that at least one of the twins had abilities before she was captured. This leaves open the door for a comic-like mutant origin story.

Looks like there will be a more specific answer in WandaVision After Evan Peters appeared on the show. Peters has played Quicksilver in the Fox X-Men movies, while Aaron-Taylor Johnson has played the MCU in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Peters’ character claimed to be Wanda’s brother, and fans believed this was the first mutant crossover, but it ultimately turned out to be nothing more than a fake, with Peters playing a character named Ralph Boehner.
