Anaheim, California – Tom Sawyer Island in Disneyland is on fire.

The fire broke out during the “Fantasmic” show. A video on social media showed the dragon catching fire during the live show.

No injuries were reported, according to the Anaheim Fire Department.

A witness told ABC7 that after the fire broke out, staff members evacuated the area around Frontierland, but the rest of the park remained open.

Videos of the incident show the guests watching and recording the program’s unplanned finale while a megaphone informs them that “the performance cannot proceed due to unforeseen circumstances”.

Live “Fantasmic!” The program uses water and fire special effects to tell the story of Mickey Mouse as the wizard’s apprentice, interspersed with clips from classic Disney films.

Disneyland describes the show as “Bold heroes and epic villains battle on a grand scale in a spectacular nighttime show – starring Mickey Mouse”.

Fire cut short the show as it drew to a close. Recently renovated, the show usually concludes with fireworks and a visit to a steamship filled with dancing Disney characters and fireworks.

ABC News contributed to this report. The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of ABC7.
