Marvel Fantastic Four He digs deeper into the development process, with the movie likely to start shooting by this time next year in order to meet its 2025 release. With the Rogues Gallery in the First Family partially led by Galactus, along with Marvel Studios’ always sticking to comic book source material, it’s Only a matter of time before Devourer of Worlds is introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In fact, recent chatter online has fans guessing that the fan-favorite villain will be on his way thanks to the introduction of one of his leads, Terrax the Tamer.
While he’s not Galactus’ most popular transmitter by any means – hey there, Silver Surfer – choosing to introduce Terrax before any other member of the group is the best move Marvel Studios could have made. We’ve already seen the Silver Surfer in live action, and it’s been highlighted many times. On the other side of the equation, Terrax doesn’t happen to be the least known or unknown to the Heralds, like FIrelord, Air-Walker, or Morg.
Who is Terrax Tamer?
Before he was even in the Herald, Terrax appears at odds with the Fantastic Four, having first appeared in the Fantastic Four #221, thanks to Marv Wolfman and John Byrne. Initially the character was nothing more than an alien tyrant named Tyros, Galactus soon recruits him to act as his herald, searching for worlds to be consumed by his master.
Since then, Terrax has appeared in many of Marvel’s most high-profile cosmic events, even serving as Anti-Hajiro during the events of extermination. However, he’s pretty much a villain in the Fantastic Four family of characters, and he’s a character ready for some live screen time.
The film is directed by Matt Shakman from a screenplay provided by MCU newcomers Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan, and Ian Springer. the Fantastic Four The movie is currently scheduled to hit theaters on February 15, 2025.
