How to prevent photos from resurfacing of memories of exes and deceased people on iOS and iPadOS

Nobody needs to see that.

Let’s face it; Most of us probably have pictures of people we don’t necessarily want to see often. While we can technically crop or delete these photos, some of us prefer to keep these moments, because they shaped us into who we have become today. This could become a problem, though, when iOS 16 shows these Snaps in the For You tab, where Memories and Highlights are automatically displayed. Fortunately, you can stop the dead and dead from appearing in this section of the app, whether you have an iPhone 14 Pro Max or another iPhone model. All you have to do is follow the steps mentioned below.

Stop showing photos to certain people on your iPhone or iPad

  1. Run a file the pictures app on your iDevice.
  2. Go to for you Unpaid bill.
  3. Press the three-dot menu to display the target person’s memory.
  4. Click Less advantage.
  5. Choose the one you’d like to feature less, then tap the next.
  6. tap on Never single out this personand hit Sure button.
  7. From now on, the Photos app will no longer show memories or special moments involving that person.

Being able to block certain people from appearing in the Photos app’s dedicated tab can help keep us safe. Though, keep in mind that photos don’t always detect faces correctly. So, if the target person’s face is not recognized in a particular snap, it may still appear in the For You tab until you name it.
