Oasis reunion Noel Gallagher attacks his cowardly brother Liam | music | entertainment

It appears to be the reunion that everyone and nobody wants.

Lead singer Liam Gallagher has previously said publicly in a rather brutal way that the Oasis reunion wouldn’t even need his songwriter brother to be there: “We’d have to get someone to do the Noel roles, which wouldn’t be hard.”

The band broke up in 2009 after another battle between the siblings proved irreconcilable.

In a new interview, Noel points out that Liam seems like he talks about it constantly in public, but is “too cowardly” to communicate with him in private.

He also publicly stated his position on what he would do if contact was made.

Noel was speaking on Talk Sport when asked about the ongoing feud with Liam and the chances of a reunion: “He should call me.

“He keeps it going forever. You’d think he had a plan. He doesn’t have to talk to me. I know he wouldn’t talk to me. He’s a coward.”

“He should get some of his men to call my people and say look this is what we think and then we’ll have a conversation about it. Even then he’s been a bit disingenuous.”

Asked if he would attend a reunion, Noel added: “I’ve always said things are best left in the past.

“The thing with Liam is, you read this stuff every day, he says it happens. So he gets people’s hopes up all over the world, and then they get asked about it and I look like I’m putting a huge foot forward on it.”

He has a simple message from his brother: “Call me. Call me. Let’s hear what you have to say.”

It also casts doubt on Liam’s true intentions: “I guess he doesn’t want to do it, but he just likes to say he wants to do it. He’s got his own thing. He’s selling Knebworth. Why would he want to share it with me for? I’m grateful with what.” I do. It destroys it. Why be deceitful with people?

“If you have a plan, give me a ring. I’m open to conversation. Otherwise stop playing with the kids. It’s not fair to the fans. It’s not fair.”
