Kline, TX (KTRK) – the Scattered thunderstorms that drove through the Houston area appears to have caused at least one accident that set a pickup truck on fire.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Department Office 4 released information about a lightning strike on a vehicle as well as photos of a truck engulfed in the fire Tuesday afternoon.
Deputies and the Klein Fire Department were called to Collins Park at the 6700 block of Cypresswood Drive about the disaster.
Detective No. 4 confirmed that no injuries had been reported.
However, photos show dramatic flames engulfing the pickup’s cab area, with the hood and driver-side door wide open.
