The feud between Bloodline and Jimmy Uso cost Jey Uso WWE the United States Title on SmackDown

Jey Uso will start WWE SmackDown, where he was supposed to choose between The Bloodline and his brother, Jimmy Uso. Heyman threw a lot at G, saying that he was next in line to be Chief of the Clan and that Reigns wanted to groom him for the role. Additionally, Heyman said he could bring more gold to Bloodline, as he had a match against United States Champion Austin Theory later in the night. It was time for the main event, and at one point Jey actually nailed Theory for the win, but the referee walked out of the match and didn’t see it. That’s when Pretty Deadly stepped in, but pushed Jimmy Uso to help his brother. This led to Solo Sikoa getting involved, and in all of the chaos Jey ended up pinning and retaining his title, making things even more complicated between Heyman and Sikoa and Jimmy and Jey.

Jey and Theory closed in and Theory first grabbed control with a headbutt before hitting a shoulder, but Jey came back with a tackle of his own. Jey then threw Theory over the top rope to the floor, and Jey followed it up by throwing Theory onto the announce table. Coming back from the commercial, Theory had Jey in a headlock, but Jey got free and the two stars traded punches.

Jey crashed a neckbreaker on Theory and went for the cover, but Theory kicked in. Then both superstars traded more moves, Theory would go for cover after a kick from the ropes, but Jey kicked out. Theory went to lift Jey but Jey ran away again, then Theory came back and knocked Jey to the mat in a pin attempt, but Jey was knocked out. Theory went for A Town Down but Joey broke it, then hit Jey Theory with Enzuigiri. Jay scored in theory but Theory ran into the referee and threw him out of the ring.

Then Jey hit the spot on Theory and covered him for a count of four, but the referee was still down and didn’t see it. Pretty Deadly then hit the ring and attacked Jey, but Jimmy ran in to save them, holding them off as Jey was falling. Jimmy then went to help J up but Solo Sekua came out of nowhere and slammed Jimmy.

Sekoa was going to hit Jimmy with the Samoa Spike, but J stopped Sekoa’s arm. Sikoa shook him and Jimmy was about to hit Sikoa with the superkick, but he moved out of the way and Jimmy ended up kicking Jey instead. Jimmy would dive in and knock Sequa to the floor, but while this was happening Theory ran again and hooked G, getting the third count and the win and retaining the US title in the process.

Then Paul Heyman came out to join Sikoa, helping Jimmy Jey up. J pushes Jimmy away, frustrated by what happened, and Jimmy tells him he was just trying to help. J walked out of the ring towards the back, and on his way, Heyman told him he was sorry. J waved them all off and walked towards the back, Heyman smiled as he called out Roman Reigns, while Jimmy looked stunned.

Jey still hasn’t made a choice between The Bloodline and Jimmy, but that will likely change next week. Reigns returns to SmackDown next Friday, and he likely wants Jey to pick, especially after Heyman told him he was next in line to be Chief of the Tribe.

What do you think of the match and who will Jey choose to align with? Let us know in the comments and as always you can talk all things wrestling with me on Twitter @MattAguilarCB!
