Best MORS Build & Loadout

Quick Links

Modern Warfare 3’s Season 3 has arrived, bringing a decent amount of content to both the base game and Warzone. Multiplayer 6v6 maps like Emergency and 6 Star provide a nice change of scenery, while the anticipated return of Rebirth Island provides an additional playing ground for Resurgence players. Speaking of returning content, the Battle Pass allows players to acquire the MORS Sniper Rifle – a weapon that was last seen in Call Of Duty: Advance Warfare.

Looking for the best meta guns for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone? Here are the 10 best weapons ranked!

The MORS is a returning Sniper Rifle for Modern Warfare 3. Though not boasting the highest damage when it comes to weapons of the same category, the MORS is up there and possesses excellent accuracy and recoil control. This Sniper, though only having a single round loaded at a time, does boast the fastest reload time of any Sniper. However, the rechambering speed is a little slower than other options, making the need to run a specific bolt attachment rather necessary.

Unlocking The MORS

how to unlock the MORS in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone

The MORS is a free reward available in the Season 3 Battle Pass for Modern Warfare 3 and can be found in Sector C4. To get to C4, you will need to create a path to it by unlocking all the rewards within the adjacent Sectors. The fastest way to acquire the MORS is to unlock all rewards within Sectors C1, C2, and C4.

Outside the Battle Pass, you can unlock the MORS by unlocking a Blueprint variant of it – either as a Store Bundle or as a reward – or via extracting it in Modern Warfare Zombies.

Now that we are into Season 3 of Modern Warfare 3, we decided to take advantage of the Assassin Vest. This nifty piece of equipment hides you from enemy UAVs, and though you cannot run a suppressor on the MORS, this is still a must for keeping a low profile when repositioning. Next, run the Marksman Gloves to reduce sway and flinch while in ADS. Stalker is great for boosting ADS and strafe movement speed, allowing you to be snappy with your aim. Finally, finish off with a Tac Mask to reduce the strength of enemy Flash and Stun Grenades.

For your Warzone MORS loadout, try the following Perks: Focus, Double Time, Tempered, and Ghost.

The MORS is a superb weapon to use for long-range gunfights in Modern Warfare 3’s Multiplayer. However, only the most accurate of players will be able to use this weapon up close. For that very reason, we suggest equipping a Handgun to swap to when caught in a pinch. Our top picks for the Handgun category include the WSP Stinger, the TYR, and the Renetti.

For Warzone, however, consider running a fast swap-to-weapon to keep you covered when enemies get a little too close for your liking. Our top picks for the close-to-medium-range-meta include the WSP Swarm, the RAM-9, the RAM-7, the Striker-9, the HRM-9, the AMR9, and the BP50. If you are looking to try a new weapon, then why not consider the FJX Horum Submachine Gun?
