Last week, ZEE5 announced its upcoming original fantasy drama series, Fireflies – Parth aur Jugnu. Today, they released the full trailer for the series, an Indian fantasy drama that will debut next month, with Kyle Rayner serving as creator and acclaimed comics writer Ron Marz as consultant. Directed by award-winning national director Hemant Jabba, and written by Alok Sharma, the series stars Meet Mokhi, Akam Benjoy, Madhu Shah, Priyanshu Chatterjee, Luke Kenny, Akshat Singh, Zoya Afroz, Varun Kapoor, Harshit Bojwani, Anaya Shivan, Reva Arora and Rahul Singh and Hitesh Dave in lead roles.
With acclaimed mythologist and author Devdutt Pattanaik as script consultant and American comic book writer who has worked extensively with DC and Marvel, Ron Marz as script doctor, this one-of-a-kind Indian fantasy drama will premiere at ZEE5 on May 5th.

According to its official brief, Fireflies – Parth aur Jugnu centered around Parth [played by Meet Mukhi]a fourteen-year-old boy who meets Jogno [played by Aekam Binjwe], a child mystic from the haunted forest of Bheem Mukteshwar and together they embark on an adventure-filled journey full of action, self-discovery and bedtime stories. Filmed in the hills of Himachal Pradesh, this series explores emotions like teenage friendship, exploration, mythology, and life lessons between good and evil.
