warning! Spoilers ahead of Stranger Things Season 4, Volume 1. Go back to this space when you saw what happens in the Upside Down!
Well well well. I must say, I think I was as happy as many others Weird things Fans when Season 4 finally came out (finally!) recently as part of 2022 TV schedule. Not only was there a lot of stand out Weird things Personalities (so between New staff member additions for the epic ring set), but Weird things Season 4, Volume 1 ends She offered some amazing insights into Vecna, Eleven, and even the Upside Down.
Obviously now I’m in the same boat as the fans around the world and I’m beating a lot Weird things Season 4 Thoughtsspecially ka The Dover Brothers raised ‘Anarchy’ in Volume 2. While I do not, by any means, I know What will happen in the last two episodes of the season, I am so excited to see what this blockbuster has in store for us. With that in mind, here’s a small sampling of eight things I really want to see Weird things Season 4, Volume 2!
Steve has a big hero moment (maybe to save Nancy)
Steve has already gone through a number of amazing heroic moments during his time Weird things, so I have no doubt that Season 4, Volume Two will provide further evidence of his bravery. Already this season, we’ve seen him do one of the bravest things, and without thinking much: volunteer to find Water-Gate. Of course, when Steve finds him, he gets too close to him and ends up running, which leads to him being attacked by a number of pilot bats and to Nancy, Robin, and Eddie who walk in after him.
This results in Vecna eventually catching Nancy before everyone else can escape to Hawkins. Nancy looks… as good as one can be when one’s upside down, in teaser size 2And I have no doubt that Steve will be a big part of that by figuring out a way to save her. And I can’t wait for that or any other big hero moments from him.
Mike and Eleven reunite
Oh hey. Do these two have some relationship issues to work on, my prince? Sure, saving the entire world is the bigger problem, but the Dover Brothers promise that even with as much excitement as Volume 2, there’s still plenty of good stuff to work out, and the feud between Eleven and Mike definitely fits that bill.
I can’t be sure these two will be able to reunite by the end of the roughly two-and-a-half-hour final, but I’d love to see Eleven and Mike get at least a small chance to talk about why he doesn’t love El the way she wants to anymore. If that’s not the perfect get-together before you have to battle her old opponent, One/Vecna, I don’t know what is.
Eddie proved his innocence at Hawkins
Man, don’t you just love my hands? I was so ready to be a jerk that I wish he was dead soon, but this scene in the woods with Chrissy changed everything. And during his journey as a frightened young man on the run, we see that Eddie is indeed a decent man who absolutely does not deserve anything he has gone through, or to go to prison for A supernatural murder he did not commit. I don’t even know how the Hawkins gang will be able to exonerate Eddie, but I’m dying to prove his innocence so he can finally walk at that point and show Chief Higgins dead in the eye and flip him over on the bird!
How did Hopper, Joyce, and Murray get out of Russia?
I can only imagine that this would be very difficult to solve, even with more than three hours left in season four. When we left them in volume 1, the trio was stuck in Hooper’s Russian prison with a very angry Demogorgon. Even if this monster could rampage through the prison and kill everyone else, Hopper, Joyce, and Murray would still have to beat or evade him and then figure out how to get back to the States.
My guess is that the fuzzy smoke we see Hopper and Murray in the trailer for Volume 2 has something to do with them making it come back quickly, but I’m excited to see if my hunch is correct.
Argyle finally sees some supernatural things
You know, I really love Argyle. But, part of me wonders if he’s too nice for this world. One of the joys Weird things Season 4 so far sees Argyle’s reaction quite realistically to go from being a pizza delivery guy to a government getaway driver who evades the plot. I hope he comes out of this season alive, but I also hope to see the generally quarrelsome youngster react to seeing some supernatural trickery that everyone is now used to.
Get more answers about The Upside Down
Well, we now know that Eleven was powerful enough to drive One to the Upside Down after he killed just about everyone in Hawkins’ lab. But, boy, do I have a lot of other questions about Dimension, Eleven’s role in opening it, and how one factored into what we’ve seen in the previous three seasons. I really, truly Hope we get more answers before Season 4 ends!
More Robert Englund (hopefully)
Is there anyone who fails him? Performed by Robert Englund Like Victor Creel in Weird things? no. I do not think so! His only scene as a character from the Duffers He let us believe it was a big bad this season, It was awesome. Englund helped recreate the horror of what Victor went through with total pity, and although I know that if we see him again it will likely mean his death, I’m still eager to get more of this character and Englund this season.
Eleven’s big showdown with Vecna
We know he has to come, right? Now that El remembers what happened between her and One in the lab and seems to have regained her strength, she will try to stop Vecna. But I have a bad feeling that he might now be too strong for her, and if Eleven had any hope of defeating him, it would take a really big sacrifice on her part.
All we have to do now is wait patiently and see what Weird things Season 4, Volume 2, should deliver, and luckily we have until July 1st just to see the end for ourselves!
