Fantastic 4: The disappointing John Krasinski Reed Richards news directed by Marvel | movies | entertainment

This year, things have expanded dramatically in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has sent the titular hero to a group of new universes to meet new characters. One of these universes has been controlled by The Illuminati, a secret organization made up of some of the famous comic book heroes, including Professor X, Captain Carter and Black Bolt.

But perhaps the most exciting was the arrival of Reed Richards – the leader of Fantastic 4.

Reed played The Office star John Krasinski. This choice was even more exciting considering that fans online had been fantasizing about the star as the character for years.

Things didn’t end well for Reed when he encountered Wanda, who tore him like cheese. This was probably the last time fans saw Krasinski as the character.

Commenting on the Doctor Strange sequel, director Sam Raimi talked about casting Krasinski as Mr. Fantastic. In candid chat, he revealed that the idea of Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, was to hire Krasinski.

It’s funny that Kevin [Feige] john cast [Krasinski]”Because fans were dreaming of who the perfect Red Richards would be,” Al-Raymi said.

Al-Rimi went on to talk about giving Feige this “dream” to the fans. He has hinted that it is nothing more than a headscarf.

The Spider-Man director said, “Because this is an alternate world, I think Kevin said, ‘Let’s make this dream come true.'” I’ve always really enjoyed both [Krasinski’s] offers”.

This veiled farewell to Krasinski’s place in the MCU may mean he won’t be returning in the future. Of course, this would be devastating news for fans.

The American actor has always been called up to play Reed Richards – and he did a great job on the Multiverse of Madness! – But was his headscarf just a way to please fans?

Another MCU writer seems to think so.

Marvel announced that they are producing a Fantastic 4 movie to be released in the next few years. The movie doesn’t have a specific release date yet, but there are a few options.

Disney has confirmed its plans to release four Marvel movies throughout 2024. These dates are: February 16, May 3, July 26, and November 18.

Chances are, one of these slots will be taken by Fantastic 4. But that means we have a long wait for the awesome heroes to appear on screen again.

Krasinski will be a welcome return to the series. Even if he felt like he shouldn’t have been cast in the first place.

Krasinski has previously spoken of the enthusiasm that made him become Reed Richards. He said, “Actually I felt stupid. I wanted to email Kevin Feige and be like, ‘Sorry, man.’ I wasn’t trying to put pressure on you. You are the man.”

He added that he felt like he had “over-calculated” how much he talked about the subject. “Then you grow up,” he added. And you just say: ‘I don’t know, I’ll be honest. And my honest answer was like: “Hell, yes. I was going to play Mr. Fantastic.”

Krasinski admitted he “didn’t know” it would make headlines. “I thought it would only be the eighth question in that interview. But it’s true,” he said.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is now available to stream on Disney Plus.
