The spin-off, “The Rookie: Feds,” has a new FBI agent in town, and according to Niecy Nash-Betts, she’s the academy’s “oldest and newest rookie.” Nash Bates reprises her role as Simon Clarke and serves as executive producer for the new series, which branched off from “Rookie.” It is captured from its current fourth season, as Officer John Nolan (Nathan Fillion) and the Los Angeles Division of the FBI enlist Clark’s help when one of her former students is a suspect in a terrorist attack.
