Dayton, Texas (KTRK) – Authorities have rescued dozens of emaciated farm animals on a property in Liberty County, according to the Houston Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The video above shows authorities removing farm animals from the scene. On September 2, Houston SPCA animal investigators and the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office rescued 58 birds (including ducks, turkeys, geese, chickens and guinea fowls), 11 goats, donkeys, two horses and a dog that were wandering among the dead animals at a property in Dayton off CR 401.
