The Pokemon The anime franchise will soon celebrate its 25th anniversary, and it has released a trailer for Pokemon JourneysFor an hour special for the occasion! Pokemon Journeys was the perfect series to celebrate such a feat as it opened up the entire past of the franchise to new adventures. Ash Ketchum has come face-to-face with a number of familiar friends and foes over the course of the series so far, and there’s no sign of the series stopping. With the anime coming on April 25, Pokemon’s journey has started things in a very big way with both old friends and foes returning!
Episodes 103 and 104 of the series will air again on April 1, the 25th anniversary of the Pokemon anime in general. These two episodes will see Ash and Goh head to the Kalos region as Ash is tasked with the next battle in the World Series of Coronation. Now dealing with the toughest trainers remaining in the Ultra Class, Ash returns to the Kalos area to take on the Elite Four’s Drasna and meet some of his old buddies to help him train for battle! Episode 103 of Pokemon Journeys Titled “Ash and Clement! Great Friendship Training!” It has been formally described as such (As spotted by @AnipokeFandom on Twitter), “Located in Kalos District, Lumiose City will be the next match venue for [‘World Coronation Series’]. Before the match, Ashes and [Goh] Visit Gym Leader Clemont and his sister Bonnie, who once traveled with Ash. Ash receives special training from Clement in the form of a Pokemon battle, but there seems to be something wrong with SirFetch’d?! And Drakovich becomes curious about SirFetch’d…”
As for Episode 104, it is titled “.[Ultra Class]! versus Elite Four Drasna! It is described as such (As spotted by @AnipokeFandom on Twitter) ‘Ash discount in [‘World Coronation Series’] He is the member of the Kalos Elite Four Drasna, who is ranked 12th in the [Ultra Class]. She is cute at first glance, but her fighting skills are very radical. Ash challenges the Dragon-type specialist Drasna with Sirfetch’d and Dracovish-powered! But can Ash defeat such a powerful enemy? After being reunited with Clemont and Bonnie, brother and sister, who have traveled together in the Kalos region, and after special training with them, Ash will be able to see what kind of battle he is showing against the Kalos Elite Four member Drasna…”
